Crossroads grew from $350K annual sales to $1.4M annual sales at its peak in 2001. During the national decline of the Christian Bookstore industry, Mr. Zetterholm has been responsible for developing and implementing cost-reduction/downsizing plans.

As owner/operator, Mr. Zetterholm provided computer, general business, and graphic design consulting services to Washtenaw County businesses. Mr. Zetterholm's clients included several architects, several retail stores (including Crossroads), a graphics design and pre-press company, several churches, and an off-site catering company. In 1993 Mr. Zetterholm acquired 50% of Crossroads and transitioned away from consulting to devote all time and energy to Crossroads growth. The computer consulting jobs typically consisted of determining and articulating the needs of the company, aiding in the selection of hardware and software for office jobs (accounting, marketing, contact management), selection of specialized software (stress analysis for architects, recipe/food service production for catering, POS for retail), installation of computers and network equipment, training, and follow-up as required. The business consulting jobs were varied, but included the development of cash handling and accountability procedures for a retail convenience store, assisting clients with the decision to in-source or out-source payroll and accounting, recovery from viruses, recovery from software and hardware errors. All of Micro Concepts' business development was accomplished through referrals from existing clients that were pleased with the work Murray had done for them.

As a Management Role Senior Systems Analyst Mr. Zetterholm was a member of the seven-person team responsible for the development, writing, and presentation preparation for Ford's 5-year International Systems Strategic Plan, as well as for the development of a Ford-specific strategic planning methodology. Mr. Zetterholm interacted with technical and operations management in Ford Motor Company's International Subsidiaries, primarily those in South America, Australia and New Zealand. The objective of these interactions was to assimilate local plans into a comprehensive worldwide plan to allow for design and manufacturing transparency throughout the world.
Mr. Zetterholm coordinated the development, writing, and presentation of Ford Credit's 5-year Information Systems Strategic Plan. In this role he worked closely with Information Systems and Operations managers and senior Ford Credit Central Office and Field Operations Management. This task often resulted in assisting the operating activities to develop their own strategic plan prior to evaluating the role of information systems in that plan.

The largest was managing a team of 15 programmer/analysts responsible for the creation of all of the technical software for a $25M project to computerize the functions within Ford Credit Branch Offices.
