This is an example of a “tooltip“ popup written in javascript. The positioning, and color of the text is
controlled through css. The popup could also be an image. One of the problems with tooltips like these is cueing the user
to look for them. How did you discover this was here?
Most of the things Murray suggested when we redid our website had never occurred to us.
His experience in business really made a difference.
Although we now do our own development, (Murray taught us how), Murray still hosts our
websites, its nice to know we have him there when we get ourselves in trouble.
I really didn't know what I wanted to do. Murray helped me to sort out all of the possibilities,
solve the immediate needs, and leave ourselves placed well for the future.
The much more professional shopping cart has resulted
in sales of our books all over the country, and the addition of animations and audio made the site a lot more fun.

What I hope this site WILL do:
- Educate potential clients about the issues that will affect the design, usability, and maintainability of their sites.
- Show potential clients the kinds of things that can be done, that they might not otherwise have thought of.
- Provide answers to a lot of questions I am asked on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate the ways all of these technologies might be used in real-life situations.
- Demonstrate a variety of design approaches.
- Have fun, and show that even though I take web design very seriously (you should too) it doesn't mean that we can't have a lot of fun with it. I think that your customers will appreciate that as much as mine.

What I hope this site WILL NOT do:
- Answer all of your questions (Then you won't think you need to call me)
- Confuse you (Of course it is easier to explain all of this in person)
- Cause you to think that all of these techniques and designs should be used in your web site.
