My clients usually fall into one of three categories:
- They have never had a website
- They have never had a website that was based upon clear business objectives.
- They do not have a website based upon their current business objectives.
I have spent the last 20+ years operating my own companies, including retail (beer, wine, specialty food store; coffee shop and deli; book store, off-site catering) and consulting (computer installation and setup; accounting system rollout; general business; project management; website development). In addition I have been an instructor in specialized classes for grade-school, middle school, and even Washtenaw Community College, and developed and taught a series of courses through Saline Community Education adapting Project Management Principles to everyday life.
As a result of these experiences, I know how difficult it is to afford non-product related expenses like website development. But I also understand the roles your website could play in your business development. And most importantly, I can help you to determine what you can reasonably expect to accomplish with your website given YOUR budget.
This is what will happen when you contact me.
- We will arrange to meet to discuss your objectives or to untangle them if necessary.
- I will help you to understand how those objectives may or may not be able to be met within your budget. If your budget cannot provide for all of the objectives, I'll help you to prioritize them into a series of projects that can be completed in phases, as the money becomes available.
- Once we've agreed on the best course of action and estimated costs, we'll be ready to get the project rolling and your website up and running.
- I am available to work on a per-hour or a fixed-price/project basis.
